Hi everybody
I am an English Bookcrosser now living in Italy. Finding learning the bella Italiano lingua molto difficle! Would like to find other English speakers to exchange English language books with. This forum was kindly suggested to me, however it does not appear to be currently very active in this General Discussion section?

Hi there! Good to know that you're living in Italy! I use to read in English, so I guess we could exchange books, or you could join the rings, sometimes they're in Eglish even if they travel in Italy

Hello LLM, and welcome! :D :D

I guess you are right, the 'General discussion' section of this forum is not particularly lively... :(

Nonetheless, you'll find quite a few enthusiast Italian bookcrossers (including myself) willing and eager to read and exchange in English. Plus, as Lizzy suggested, there are a few active rings in English.

Welcome to Italy. I look forward to exchanging soon with you! :yes!:

Thanks

Thanks for your welcome messages.
Do take a look at my available bookshelf on the main bookcrossing site
I frequently add new titles. Please PM me from BC if you see any titles you would like to read.

How do I find out about joining any English language bookrings via this forum.
It says I can change the language to English! Is this possible and how?

You can find all the bookring and rays here. Most of them are in Italian, but there are a few in English too! I am thinking about opening a ring on Sophie Kinsella books, the Shopaholic lot, so maybe you are interested..

Do you mean the spelling check? Or something else?

It should be just the language of the site: the buttons and all those stuff...

Anyway...welcome here! :D

Thankyou to all of you who have replied to my first post on this forum.
Look forward to exchanging English books with some of you in the future.

I am trying to learn Italian now that we live in Italy but finding it very difficult. We do not get much opportunity to practice as we do not know many Italians!

Hi! :)
I just sent you a Pm (by the way, sorry for being so late ) and I had a look at your shelf.
Would you like to exchange the Anne Tyler book for whatever you like among my AVL and TBR books?
If you choose a TBR book, it could take a while for me to read it, but I promise I'll put it on top of my mount TBR...

Then, since you live in Vetralla, you can always come to one of our meet ups in Rome. We would be more than glad to have you among us! :yes!:

Ciao!
