See, I already learnt what "stai muto" means. And "Va domire" and if it weren't for the many *peep* sounds I'm sure I'd have learnt a few bad words by now as well.

Ugh, there's a story of mine about bad words in Italian, too. A few years ago, I worked at the University Hospital of Pavia for a month. One day I observed a breast operation. Later, I told an Italian friend of mine about this intervention and used a - let's say - inappropriate word. His reaction: He didn't just laugh his a** off, he also couldn't wait to tell another friend about my error
