I'll be in Roma next week!!!!

It has been a looooooooooooong time since last time I posted over here... Time flies, I guess!!
The thing is that from 16th to 21st September I will be in Roma (my favourite city!!!) and I wanted to ask you for advice. I am SO excited and so looking forward to getting there!!!! This will be my second stay in Roma.
Do you know any place where I can find nice books, maybe secondhand ones? I know I have read somewhere that there is an area where there are many little bookshops, and I would love to visit them!
Any in which I could find books in other languages as well (English, for example)?
Any other places, curious shops, etc that you would recommend me (besides the ones you can find in a tourist guide )???
Anyone from Roma over here??

There's a nice sencond hand bookshop in Trastevere, "Open-door-bookshop" full of books in english (but not only), and trastevere is one of the places you have to see in rome if you haven't already done, expecially in the evening!
Otherwise you can try at Mel bookstore (in Via Nazionale, near Termini station) but there are only few used books in other languages.

The center of rome is really full of bookshops, the problem is that the center is really big!

If you're lookin' for second-hand books in italian, there's the area just outside Termini Station (exit: Via dei cinquecento), full of "bancarelle" (come si dice in inglese ???) with old books and comics. Also,check the MelBookstore shop in the same area (via Nazionale 254), there's one floor entirely dedicated to used books, also in english.

Sorry I haven't been able to reply you before, but I had a really stressful week at work!! Fortunately, it is already the weekend and I am leaving for Roma tomorrow!!!!!!!!!! I am really looking forward to it
I want to thank you for your pieces of advice. I really apreciate it!

By the way, is the carbonara a typical dish for Roma? I had no idea, for some silly reason I thought it was from Napoli... sorry:(
